Welcome to Siberia!

This was the outside temperature at 8am this morning. Wind chills were even worse, at 45-50 degrees below zero. Thankfully, our house is warm and we are comfortable. It is NOT fun leaving work at 7:30am and having to get into a very cold car for the drive home!

The low tonight is again projected to be -23F. The NWS has issued the following warning:

A WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST FRIDAY.

BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES AND A WIND OF 5 TO 10 MPH WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS TONIGHT. EXPECT VALUES OF 30 TO 40 BELOW ZERO TONIGHT. BITTERLY COLD CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH LATE FRIDAY MORNING.

Keep us in North Iowa in your prayers as we continue to deal with these very rough conditions.

Hi, I found the "Journey to Jeremy" blog and would like to contact Jeremy's family. We are trying to adopt a boy from the orphanage that Jeremy is from and I think he's in some of Jeremy's pictures. Can you pass my email to them? Thank you..I'm not sure how to get in touch with them otherwise. beth_c_smith @ hotmail. com (no spaces)

Hi Beth,
We are Jeremy's family. We'll contact you by e-mail. Jeremy remembers Jiu-Jiu. We may even have some additional pics.
