HuckaBOOM!

The HuckaBOOM in Iowa has reached it's pinnacle, as tonight Mike Huckabee scored a landslide victory in the Iowa Caucus. I'm not one to typically say "I told you so", but click here to see my prediction dated Oct 31, 2007.

In the overall scheme of things, this is a SMALL beginning to a very long process. There are 49 more states to go before the Republican convention. Gov. Huckabee's victory however, gives him some momentum going forward to the Feb. 5 "Super Tuesday" primaries. Now the BOOM must go beyond Iowa into the other states.

Again, I urge you to visit www.mikehuckabee.com/issues to see where the Governor stands on the issues facing our country and his ideas for moving our country forward.

Hi John,

You might want to read what science bloggers have to say about him. This one from badastronomy:

http://www.badastronomy.com/bablog/2008/01/15/huckabee-very-very-very-bad-guy/

And this one from Pharyngula, a science blog about biology:

http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/01/huckabee_is_a_raving_lunatic.php

Apparently going after this quote: "I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution,” Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. “But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that’s what we need to do — to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than try to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."

So he wants to change the constitution and make this a Christian Nation. Just say no to the HuckaBOOM. He has no chance in hell. I take that back, hell maybe a good place for him.
